Canal Olympic Sports Park

The Grand Canal Olympic Park is located in Tongzhou new city section of North Grand Canal in Tongzhou District. The first phase starts from the south end of water island at the source of Beiyun River in the north, reaches the Sixth Ring Road in the south, West Binhe Road in the West and North Grand Canal flood dike in the East. The planned total length of the whole line is 4600 meters, the width is 600-800 meters and the total area is 3.68 million square meters.

The water surface of the canal Olympic Park accounts for 920000 square meters, with a greening rate of 95%. From November 1, 2004 to May 2007, the first phase of the construction was completed, and the landscape transformation area exceeded 1 million square meters. Tongzhou Canal Park is a large-scale green ecological park based on the expansion and transformation of Canal Cultural Square, canal Olympic Sports Park and canal ecological park. It is a comprehensive place integrating leisure and entertainment education, sports fitness, water recreation and sightseeing. It is also the largest urban park in Jingdong.
