YUNPU gully

Yunbaogou is located in the half tofu mountain at the junction of Yanqing District of Beijing and Chicheng County of Hebei Province. In the southwest, it is about 16 kilometers away from Yanqing Town, 6 kilometers east of the famous Longqingxia scenic spot, and close to Xianglong road. The half piece of tofu mountain is the peak on the northwest side of Yanqing Basin, which is 1157 meters above sea level and belongs to Jundu mountain. There are many streams and waterfalls in the ditch, so it is called "YUNPU ditch". There are more than 100 mu "Subalpine Meadow" and a large area of wasteland on the top of the mountain, which can be used for camping. It has the geographical and ecological advantages of hiking.

Yunpugou scenic spot covers an area of more than 4000 mu, which is a rare natural landscape in northern China. With the change of seasons, the scenery varies in four seasons: sunny spring, brilliant mountain flowers; midsummer, cloud shade, green leaves, crisp streams and sweet springs; golden autumn, high sky, light clouds, boundless meadows; severe winter, snow covered, ice carved and jade. Yunpugou gorge is also called "laofenggou" by local people because of its cool summer wind. In the gorge, there are many streams trickling down, three folds of nine curves, sometimes looming and sometimes appearing, intermittently, if there is something or not, just like the artistic conception of Wang Wei's quatrains in the mountains

"Jingxi has white stones, cold weather and few red leaves. There is no rain on the mountain road, but the sky is green and wet.

The unique stone ridges in the valley call themselves a scene: Crocodile top, panshiling, Ganoderma lucidum stone, lion's face, giant tortoise, colorful stone and the unique "one pillar of the north sky" Boulder, which can be seen from afar in the valley. There are three springs and five waterfalls in the valley (three springs are tea waterfall spring, Jingshu spring and Lingwang spring; yunwang waterfall, Yunqing waterfall, Yunfei waterfall, yunqu waterfall and Yunyi waterfall). The water is clear and the sound is attractive.

There are many kinds of Chinese herbal medicines and wild flowers, such as Codonopsis pilosula, Astragalus membranaceus, Rhododendron, Platycodon grandiflorum, bupleurum, acanthopanax senticosus, Aconitum carmichaeli, aconite, rose, peony, clove, Vitex trifolia, etc., especially Vitex trifolia. Taian Mountain Nature Reserve, which is close to half of the tofu mountain, has a large number of wild animals, including gazelle, leopard, roe deer, badger, squirrel, pheasant, hare and so on. Birds include golden eagle, dove, magpie, yellow bird, Laobo, willow warbler, woodpecker and so on. It is a good place for sightseeing and mountaineering.

At the end of YUNPU Valley, named foyewan, there are cliff inscriptions and inscriptions of Buddha statues in Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty. It is a historic site worth visiting, which can be viewed and worshipped. From the right side of dafoye Bay, you can get to the "moyao Pavilion" on the hillside.
