Metro Cultural Park

The construction of Daxing District subway Cultural Park is in full swing, and the construction of the park is progressing smoothly. The completion of the Metro Cultural Park will greatly improve the environment in the northern part of the new town and provide a place for leisure, entertainment and popular science education for the surrounding 30000 residents. The subway Cultural Park is adjacent to the South Ring Road of Xihongmen in the north, the Fifth Ring Road in the south, Xinghua North Road in the East and Guogongzhuang road in the West. The total area of the park is about 284 mu, which is one of the practical projects of Daxing District Government in 2010. According to the master plan, after the completion of the park, visitors can see the subway sign landscape, exhibition stand, time tunnel exhibition area, leisure post station and other hardware facilities here. In addition, the green landscape will also be one of the highlights of the whole park, Ginkgo biloba, Fatong, Pinus tabulaeformis, cherry blossom, torch tree and other local tree species will appear in large numbers in the park.

Beijing's first subway Cultural Park is expected to be completed around November 11. At present, the construction of Daxing District subway Cultural Park is in the process of finishing work, and will be open to the public free of charge.

For example, there are two stone carvings on the platform floor of Xingong station on Daxing line named "ancient echo" and "autumn wind in Nanyuan", the mural "auspicious clouds in Shouyi" made by copper carving technology at Gaomidian north station, and the mural "pastoral sonata" made by Cloisonne at Zaoyuan station. There are various forms of production technology, including traditional stone carving, ceramics, cloisonne, etc., as well as modern metal, crystal and so on.

Among them, the large Cloisonne mural at Zaoyuan Road Station creatively solved the technological problem that the traditional enamel technology could not make large-scale plane decorations, and broke through the limitation that it was only used for indoor small utensils in the past, which is the first time in China.

Main role

The biggest feature of the subway Cultural Park is that it takes the park as the window to record and display the construction process of the subway Daxing line and the struggle history of Daxing District in promoting the urban-rural integration construction, and become an effective carrier for popularizing subway knowledge, promoting subway culture and publicizing Daxing culture. In the future, visitors can learn about the construction history of Beijing subway and Daxing line through pictures, sign walls, locomotive exhibits and other forms, and fully appreciate the development process of Beijing subway in the past 40 years.
