Shanwei Haifeng Lianhua Mountain

The main peak of Lianhua Mountain is 1337.3m above sea level. It is the first peak along the coast of eastern Guangdong. It looks like a blooming lotus, so it is named. On the slope of the southern foot of the mountain, there are mountains and peaks, green and green, forming the world wonder of "Lianfeng reddening". There are 18 waterfalls such as Shuanglong waterfall and Huiyin waterfall, hot springs such as Zhaogong and puzai, and natural landscapes such as big and small east gate, Tianchi and Tathagata Panshi. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, seven ancient temples such as Jiming temple, Yunlian temple and Jinzhu temple were founded by eminent monks in the mountain. The religious culture is developed and it is known as "Lotus Buddha kingdom". There have always been celebrities such as Bai Yuchan, Liu Kezhuang, Wen Tianxiang and Ding Richang who lived in seclusion or passed by here and wrote praising poems. In modern times, Zhou Enlai, Peng Pai, Xu Qianqian and Gu Dacun opened up and established revolutionary armed bases here, leaving behind the site of the fourth division of the Red Army.
