East four hutongs run from east to west, starting from North Street of Chaoyang Gate in the East and ending at North Street of Dongsi in the West. In the middle, there are three East four hutongs to the South and five East four hutongs to the north. It is 726 meters long and 7 meters wide. Ming Dynasty belongs to sichengfang, which is called four hutongs. Qing Dynasty belongs to zhengbaiqi, which uses four hutongs. After 1949, it was called Dongsi Tiao. When rectifying the place names in 1965, the East and West Shuiche Hutong were merged. In the "Cultural Revolution", it was renamed four red sun roads, and later restored four East roads. According to the Yandu congkao, the East workshop of baoquanju is located in four hutongs. At present, it belongs to the Beijing old city historical and cultural reserve of Dongsi santiao to badiao.

Walking into the East four streets of the market, the hutongs made of gray walls are very narrow, with almost no cultural relics. Food is the new trump card here. No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 of Dongsishitiao were originally the younger brother of mianyi, the imperial family of Qing Dynasty. Mianyi, named Dazhai, was the family of Emperor Daoguang. He was the Minister of rites in Tongzhi period, and his descendants were surnamed Jin. Because the lineage was more respected, the local people called the house "the emperor's uncle's house". Now the house is well preserved and is a dormitory of a unit. Dongsitiao No.3 was listed in the third batch of cultural relics census and registration items in Dongcheng District.

Dongsitiao5 is now a cultural relic protection unit at the district level. Facing south, the gate steps are higher, and there are several tall ancient locust trees on both sides of the gate. The courtyard has a three storey courtyard with a gate. Inside the gate, there is a shadow wall, a screen door in the west, and four Inverted rooms on the ridge of the hard mountain and tile water. In the north of the inverted room, there is an exquisite vertical flower gate with four screen doors on the East, West, North and three sides. The corridor connecting the East and West screen doors connects the whole courtyard. There are three main rooms with two auricles on each side. The interior of the main house is decorated with the old things of the Qing Dynasty. The hardwood floor partition and blue screen windows are very complete. There are three rooms in the East and three in the West.
