Desheng park is located in the south section of Beijing North Second Ring Road from Xizhimen to jiugulou street. It is a long and narrow landscape green belt from east to west.

brief introduction

The park has a total length of 2400 meters and a width of 15-28 meters. In the park, trees such as Pinus tabulaeformis, Pinus bungeana, juniper, Ginkgo biloba, Xifu Begonia are planted, flowers are placed, and lawns are laid. The green area is 5 hectares and the green space rate reaches 83%.

Desheng park is a new green park built in Xicheng District on the basis of the reconstruction of "village in city" along the North 2nd Ring Road. In the past, there were many illegal buildings and dilapidated houses here. In this reconstruction, more than 30000 square meters of building area were demolished, the municipal infrastructure was improved, the ecological environment of the area was improved, and the greening area was 31600 square meters. A new natural "green city wall" was formed on the original site of the old city wall of Beijing, which became an important ecological barrier of the capital.

Scenery

From the west to the East, the park has seven garden landscapes which are fully integrated with the historical features, namely peach blossom rain, deshengqixue, Jianlou Qiwang, ancient city relics, Huaiyin martial arts, Guyin Weiyuan and Xiya Tongxi. These landscape and Shichahai historical and cultural reserve Huitong temple, Sangong temple, Xihai, Jingye temple, Deshengmen, guanyue temple, Nianhua temple, Shuangsi, bell and Drum Tower and other places of interest fully combine, not only constitute a axis cultural belt of Deshengmen and Shichahai, but also provide a pleasant leisure and entertainment space for the surrounding residents.
