The main service content is to spread and provide information services, guide readers to understand various sources of information and its access, and provide readers with borrowing and consulting services. Haicang District Library, covering an area of about 1200 square meters, was officially opened to the public on July 29, 2005. At present, there are five areas in the library, including newspaper and periodical reading area, book lending area, children's reading area, green Internet bar E-reading room and data reading room, all of which are open to the public free of charge. There are 22 kinds of books in the library, including 54789 volumes, 50 kinds of newspapers and 110 kinds of periodicals. Haicang District Library will be relocated to the new cultural center, with an area of more than 6000 square meters.
