Futian Palace

Futian palace was built in the period of the Japanese occupation of Taiwan. It is the only temple in Shitou mountain area that is not built according to the cave. The temple worships the Tibetan king Bodhisattva, so it is also known as the hell. The ten halls of Yama in the temple usually do not have visitors.

The architecture of Futian palace is also wonderful and worth appreciating. There is a vegetarian restaurant beside it for tourists and pilgrims. The food is abundant and affordable. There is also a well-equipped pilgrim building for accommodation. It is a large temple.

The gate of futiangong, named ziyangmen, was built in 1916. It is the signboard of shitoushan. It is also the most spectacular of the five gates. It is majestic, simple and elegant, and exquisitely carved. The stone carving beside the gate says, "the dust is irrelevant, the mulberry fields and the sea are few; the chest is nothing, the green mountains and the white clouds are half." it is full of Zen and thought-provoking.

There are five gates in front of and behind the gate, namely, Nantian gate, Ziyang gate, Qingxu gate, Daode gate and pure land gate. Four gates have passed from the back of the mountain, and the gate will pass through the Nantian gate if you go further up the mountain pass. However, because there is a large parking lot here, there are not many people coming up from Gudeng pass. Qianshan mountaineering entrance is located at 22K of tounan highway (124 County Road from Toufen to Nanzhuang). It is a memorial archway with foreign style. On the archway is engraved with the golden character "Shitou mountain". Beside the stone column is engraved with "Shitou mountain of caodongzong, Kaishan Temple of quanhuatang". It is also characteristic. It is suggested that you can take a full walk if you have the chance, so that you can understand why Shitou mountain has become a scenic spot and religious attraction in Taiwan The reason of the land.
