Guizhou Provincial Museum was built in 1953 and officially opened in 1958. The museum has a collection of 60000 cultural relics, including the tooth fossils of "Tongzi ape man", many extinct mammal fossils and other precious cultural relics of the Paleolithic age, and no bronze wares such as Hugo in the Warring States period.
