Thousand mu field

·The vast thousand mu meadow on the top of Daming Mountain is commonly known as "thousand mu field". More than 1000 meters above sea level, the mountain above a smooth, so that the beautiful Jiangnan grassland style, poetry praise said: tomorrow under strange, strange in a thousand acres of land.

·This was the place where Zhu Yuanzhang, the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, trained and stationed his troops. At last, the rebel army set out from Daming Mountain, buried the dragon in the abyss, swept the world and overthrew the Yuan Dynasty.

·Here you can see different landscapes all year round. It's a rare sight to experience the vast grassland of Inner Mongolia on the high mountains in the south of the Yangtze River.

Thousand mu field

Thousand mu field, 1436 meters above sea level, belongs to the Yuling mountains. It is located in pingmen Township in the northeast of Chun'an County, 47 kilometers southwest of Chun'an County (Qiandaohu town).

Introduction to scenic spots

The alpine wetland in the thousand mu field basin is a wonder of nature. On one side is the abyss, on the other side is the plain. Climbing from the deep gorge to the thousand mu field, you can see that the thousand mu field is narrow and long, 200-300 meters wide, with a total area of about 0.7 square kilometers and a slope of less than 15 degrees. The scenery of thousand mu field is very beautiful, with azalea in spring, reed grass in summer, snow in autumn and silver snake dancing in winter. It has not only the customs outside the great wall like "the sky is blue, the wild is vast, the wind blows grass, the cattle and sheep are low", but also the feelings of "the ancients are not seen before, the comers are not seen after, the world is long, and I feel sad and shed tears alone". As early as the Tang Dynasty, Wukong, the founder of an Kingdom, built huizhao temple in Daming Mountain. At that time, the incense was very popular, and Wukong Zen master was deified because he could "subdue the dragon and subdue the tiger" and "call the wind and rain". It is said that Li Chen, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, came to damingshui to talk with Wukong Zen master about Buddhism and poetry when he was excluded. After Emperor Xuanzong's reign, he appropriated a large sum of money to order Wang Yanqing of the Ministry of industry to visit the thousand mu Tiandu to build huizhao temple. There are also remains of huizhao temple and steles inscribed by Emperor Taizu of Ming Dynasty on the thousand mu field. The stone tablet was given to General Xu Da by Zhu Yuanzhang and inscribed with the four characters "Tongxiu with the state". Historical sites such as jingmagang and dianjiangtai are still left in the thousand mu field.
