Yueya mountain cave is located at the foot of Yueya mountain, shangshaoguo village, Louzidian Township, Kalaqin, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, 60 kilometers away from Jinshan Town.

Yueyashan cave

Located at the foot of Yueya mountain, shangshaoguo village, Louzidian Township, Kalaqin, Inner Mongolia. The cave entrance is 400 meters away from Pingshuang highway, 32 kilometers away from Chifeng City and 60 kilometers away from Jinshan Town. The cave is 140 meters long, with a large cave hall and three small cave halls. The largest cave is 30 meters high, with an area of 25 square meters, and the smallest one is only 2 square meters. The second layer of the cave is about 150 meters long, which is divided into several caves and 6 meters away from the first layer. The cave is full of stone arithmetic, which is very interesting. The large-area calcium carbonate shapes such as stalagmites, stone flowers, stone grapes, stone corals and stone waterfalls distributed on the stone wall are crystal clear and exquisite under the light, like thousands of pearls. These natural sculpture works of calcium carbonate are naturally combined to form a beautiful and magical underground fairyland.

The deposits in the cave form many special forms, especially the chemical deposits. Such as stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, tufa and so on. Stalactite is a kind of deposit of calcium carbonate around the small water drops on the top of the stream when the groundwater seeps from the top of the cave, and then gradually accumulates and extends into a hanging protrusion, hanging from the top of the cave downward; stalagmite is named after the water dripping from the top of the cave splashes to the bottom of the cave, in which calcium carbonate gradually deposits and then accumulates, like bamboo shoots. When stalactites and stalagmites extend to each other, they are finally connected to form stone pillars. The water seeping out from the cracks in the cave wall, calcium carbonate, is deposited in flakes and unfolded like a curtain, so it is called stone curtain. Travertine is a layered calcium carbonate deposit on the wall of the tunnel.

Yueyashan cave has abundant and fresh air, less dust particles and harmful microorganisms, suitable humidity and high temperature. It contains a large number of negative air ions and essential trace elements such as iron, zinc and copper. It has a good regulatory effect on human autonomic nervous system, and has obvious curative effect on pulmonary emphysema, asthma, rheumatism, palpitation, dizziness and other diseases. It is worthy of the name "Natural oxygen bar" and cave hospital. Limestone caves are widely distributed in Southwest Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces, but rarely in North China. According to the formation characteristics and geological structure of the cave, there should be a third or fourth layer.

There is a large mountain apricot forest near the cave. Every spring, apricot flowers bloom all over the mountain, white and pink. At the annual apricot blossom festival, tourists come in droves to enjoy the beauty of nature by climbing mountains, appreciating flowers and watching karst caves.
