Sapu holy mountain is located in puzonggou, Yangxiu Township, Ruxian county. It has been standing here for thousands of years, surrounded by mountains. The main peak is respected as the king of local holy mountain. Its highest peak is 6956 meters, also known as "sapulagabu". It is one of the Bon sacred mountains in Tibetan Buddhism.

Myths and legends

The peaks of sap (sepugang day) have something to do with a myth full of love and hatred. Sap is the highest peak, the king of the holy mountain. The mountain is majestic but not handsome. Surrounded by him are the beautiful snow desert peak (SAP's wife) and the eldest son, second son and daughter. The far away pyramid peak is the illegitimate son of the legendary snow desert peak and another guobu holy mountain. According to legend, the holy mountain of Sapu once revenged against its rival, guobu.
