Guangzhou Metro Museum

Guangzhou Metro museum is one of the "2015-2016 social livelihood infrastructure projects" funded by Guangzhou municipal government. It is constructed by Guangzhou Metro Group, aiming to promote popular science education for teenagers and enrich the cultural life of citizens. The museum has accumulated the advantageous resources of 36 participating units in Guangzhou metro construction. With popular science knowledge as the core, it is the first digital Metro experience space, integrating exhibition, education, interaction and recreation. It presents the development achievements of Guangzhou urban construction and rail transit industry, opens a window for citizens to show the leading technology of rail transit, and provides diversified public cultural services for the city.

The museum is located on the first to second floors of the podium building of tower C, Wansheng Plaza, south of exit a of Wanshengwei subway station, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, with a construction area of 4400 m2 and exhibition area of 3600 m2. The exhibition area is divided into three floors. The first floor is the exhibition area of Guangzhou geological conditions and subway construction process; the first floor is the exhibition area of rail transit industry and Guangzhou subway development process; the second floor is the subway operation safety experience area.
