Dezhou museum is located in the cultural and sports center of Dongfanghong East Road, Dezhou City. It covers an area of 72 mu, with a main building area of 21000 square meters and an exhibition area of 7785 square meters. The functional area is composed of preface hall, basic exhibition hall (3), temporary exhibition hall (2), academic lecture hall (1), 3D film and television Hall (1), public rest area, collection warehouse, technology room and office room. Among them, the three basic exhibition halls with the theme of "historical footprints", "Pearl of civilization" and "city memory" are the key points in the museum. Based on the historical context review, cultural relics exhibition, cultural relics and folk customs reproduction, the museum makes a vertical panoramic display of various historical periods in Dezhou. It was officially completed and opened on August 8, 2012.

architectural composition

The 1580 square meter preface hall is located in the public space at the entrance of the museum, which is the basis of the theme concept of the museum. It also has various public functions, such as visitor introduction, crowd distribution, ticketing consultation, leisure consumption and so on. With jiuhetu as the background, the large relief wall with jiudatianqu and Dezhou Fu as the theme conveys the essence of Dezhou history and culture.

Temporary exhibition hall

Located on the west side of the first floor, with an area of 1160 m2, it will provide socialized exhibition services with modern open space and exhibition means.

3D Studio

Located in the south of the east side of the first floor, it covers an area of 268 m2 and can accommodate 86 people. It adopts computer virtual reality technology to condense the 5000 year history of Dezhou civilization. In the form of high-quality 3D projection, the audience can enjoy the history and natural customs of Dezhou vividly and vividly.

Auditorium

Located on the back of the east side of the first floor, covering an area of 402 square meters, it is a high standard comprehensive lecture hall, which can accommodate nearly 300 people to carry out various kinds of academic conferences and exchanges.

Taking time as the main context, this exhibition hall shows the culture of Dezhou in various periods, and is the premier's Hall of Dezhou history and culture. The style of the whole hall is solemn and steady, integrating traditional exhibition methods with modern means, expanding the information content, rendering the visiting atmosphere, strengthening the artistic effect, and giving people a visual shock.

Centering on the display of cultural relics, this exhibition hall highlights the restoration of porcelain kilns in song and Yuan Dynasties and tombs in Han Dynasty to show you the highlights of the cultural evolution of Dezhou. In this exhibition hall, we emphasize the shaping of the visiting environment, pay attention to the exploration and curiosity psychology of the visitors in the process of visiting, and focus on the design of a series of links full of interaction and real-world experience, so that the visiting process becomes a process of knowledge expansion and application at the same time.

The exhibition hall is divided into four units: "the evolution of Dezhou administrative region since liberation", "the appearance of Dezhou in the period of socialist revolution and construction", "Dezhou style in the new era of reform and opening up", "Dezhou vision for the future". The first three units mainly reflect the historical development of Dezhou since liberation in June 1946, as well as the great construction achievements made during this period.
