Jian'an fort was first built in 1474, and built with bricks and stones in 1607. Jian'an castle is 185 meters long from east to west and 451 meters wide from north to south. The bell tower in the center of the castle is 100 years earlier than Jian'an castle. It is one of the famous 36 barracks on the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty.
