Huanghe Bay scenic spot is located in Dongbatou Township, northwest of Lankao County, Henan Province, 10 kilometers away from the county. This is the last bend of the Yellow River. In history, the Yellow River burst many times in the Yellow River Bay, and many sand dunes, tidal flat wetlands and island sand bays were formed in the Yellow River dike. Because Chairman Mao had visited here, the local government paid attention to it and started large-scale construction. In the past, wasteland turned into oasis. Now, a scenic spot has been built, and a memorial Pavilion for Chairman Mao's inspection of the Yellow River has been built.

Development history

In 1952, Chairman Mao went to Dongbatou to inspect the Yellow River. In the face of the surging Yellow River, he was full of pride and issued a great call to "do a good job of the Yellow River". In the past, the barren land has become an oasis, with sand dune forests and sand dune orchards everywhere. The roaring Yellow River and Lin Maoliang's geographical environment and rich human resources provide unique conditions for the development of tourism, vacation, leisure and entertainment.

Huanghe Bay scenic spot is one of the first development scenic spots in the overall planning of tourism development in our county. Relying on the Yellow River Memorial Pavilion, the natural landscape of Dongbatou Yellow River and the regional characteristics of the last bend of the Jiuqu Yellow River, the scenic spot reproduces the scene of inspecting the Yellow River, as well as the harm of flood disasters of the Yellow River in the history of Lankao and the achievements of harnessing the Yellow River after liberation.

Inspection: the relocation project of the Yellow River Memorial pavilion has been completed, with greening and hardening around the pavilion. Other kinds of service and recreation facilities, catering, leisure and recreation contents reflecting the folk customs of the Yellow River are under construction.
