Cuifeng Mountain Ski Resort

Cuifeng mountain natural scenic spot is located in the outskirts of Yangquan City. There is a large area of primary secondary forest in the scenic spot. There are gullies and strange rocks everywhere. The clear spring water flows in the mountains. It is a natural oxygen bar. There is a minibus in front of Yangquan railway station to reach the scenic spot. The whole journey is about 1 hour. The scenic spot is closed for fire prevention from November to the end of March of the next year. During this period, the scenic spot is not open to the public.

There are three tourist routes in Cuifeng mountain scenic area, i.e. lvyexian Valley, Fozhi Pavilion and maple leaf Pavilion. It is mainly a natural experience tour, with a total length of about 5 kilometers. It is a mountain forest path paved with stone slabs, wooden boards and pine needles. On both sides of the road are lush forests. There are also six "viewing platforms" on the mountain to watch sunrise, sunset, peach blossom, summer green, red leaves and snow, and "shouting cliff" to adjust mood. We can also see the natural scenic spots such as "caimen", "Yunmen", "fumen" and "guituoshu", "love to Baitou". There are tree species introduction boards on all kinds of trees in the scenic area.

The herbarium in the scenic spot displays more than 1000 kinds of marine and terrestrial animal and plant specimens. It is the largest natural science education place in Shanxi Province. You can also have close contact with animals in the boa constrictor and giant turtle Museum in the scenic area. The golden boa constrictor and giant turtle on display here. In the water park of Cuifeng mountain, there are water fitness ball, cruise, fishing and other entertainment items for tourists to choose from.

There are also "Shanba wooden house" and resorts in the scenic area to provide accommodation for tourists. Tourists can also buy farm products and eat farm food here. In September and October every year, maple leaves in the mountains turn red one after another, which is the most beautiful season in the mountains.

Traffic information: in front of Yangquan railway station, you can take the "you 1" bus to the scenic spot. The train starts at 9 a.m. every day. The whole journey takes about an hour, but there are not many flights.
