Xilamulun Grand Canyon

Xilamulun Grand Canyon, geologically known as Xilamulun deep fault, is located in the southern margin of Daxinganling Mountains, extending nearly East-West along Xilamulun River, 340 km long and 50 km wide. It is one of the most important deep faults in this area.

Xilamulun River, also known as Huangshui, originates in Haolaihure Township on the edge of Hunshandake sandy land, with a total length of 1250 km and 151 km in Keqi. It is the cradle and birthplace of the northern nation. Mr. Su Bingqi, the Chinese archaeologist, said that if the Yellow River is the mother river of the Chinese nation, then Xilamulun is our grandmother river. The famous Hongshan culture, grassland bronze culture, Liao Qidan culture and Mongolian Yuan culture were born on the shore of water decoration. There was a poem that said, "after the sunrise of Hongshan, Longxing is the source of water decoration.".

Longkou paradise

The Xilamulun River converges with the Shali River and the saring River, flows straight down, passes through the Jiuqu 18 Bay, and enters a two kilometer long cliff gorge. The water flows out of the gorge mouth like a giant dragon puffing clouds, which is called the "dragon mouth". Large amount of water, rich water, forming a huge water drop, spectacular. From 1971 to 1974, Keqi government built a hydropower station with an installed capacity of 6000 kW here. Longkou Water Park has been built with a complete range of entertainment items, including water cruise, speedboat surfing, water bicycles, lovers' recreational vehicles, beach bathing, horse riding, sand motorcycle, swimming, hanging hook, rafting, etc. In particular, the water rafting project has attracted a large number of tourists from Beijing, Tianjin and Liaoning for its adventure, excitement and novelty, and has the reputation of being the first one in xilamuron.

Xiangshui scenic spot

It is located in the southwest of Keqi, 25 kilometers downstream of "yuanshuitou", the birthplace of Xilamulun river. The reservoir capacity of the hydropower station is 13 million cubic meters, covering an area of 4000 mu. The scenic spot is surrounded by high mountains, dense forests, lush vegetation on both sides of the reservoir, green water and red flowers. The scenic spot is only 7 kilometers away from the provincial passageway in the north and 76 kilometers away from Jingpeng Town, where the flag government is located. The main attractions are:

Xiangshui waterfall

The Xilamulun river is 25 kilometers away from the Huangyuan River and enters the gorge with a height of more than 50 meters and a width of more than 10 meters on both sides. The canyon has a drop of more than 70 meters within one kilometer. The sound of the water is loud, deafening and beautiful.

Water sightseeing

Xiangshui reservoir covers an area of 4000 mu. It has purchased one luxury yacht and two small yachts with a crew of 100 produced by a national qualified manufacturer to carry out water sightseeing by boat.

Summer vacation

There are 20 senior guest rooms, 30 Mongolian yurts and farmhouses in the scenic area, which can receive 100 tourists for dining, accommodation, leisure and vacation at one time.

Bathing beach

The water area 200 meters west of Batou on the North Bank of the reservoir is 30 meters away from the bank, with an average water depth of 1.5 meters and 600 square meters of sand on the bank. It is a natural beach.

Xiangshui maple leaf

Xiangshui has red leaves all over the mountains in autumn. It seems to compete with Xiangshan. It is a good place for photography tourism.

Tourism exploration

Xiangshui scenic spot is the nearest scenic spot to Huangyuan, the birthplace of Xilamulun river.

The first exploration project went upstream along the river, with rugged terrain on both sides of the river bed. Sometimes, the mountains and forests on both sides of the river are dense, and the current in the river is fast and gloomy. Occasionally, birds and animals are startling. Sometimes the river bed is widened and the water is sparkling, which makes people suddenly enlightened. But at this time, there is quicksand on the road. Walking one step and sliding two steps makes people laugh and cry. It's so dangerous and interesting that it definitely makes the tourists' trip worthwhile.

The second exploration project is virgin forest exploration. The "pine pit" behind the station area is densely covered with pine trees and luxuriant foliage. The air in the forest is humid and the sun is not visible, and the ground is covered with litter. The mountain is high and the forest is dense. Even if the breeze blows, the forest will buzz, giving people a thrilling and shocking feeling.
