Walnut King tree stands in kalawaqi village, 17 kilometers away from Hotan City, Xinjiang. According to the research, the tree has a history of more than 560 years. It is a fruit tree of the Yuan Dynasty and can be called the old birthday star.

The tree occupies one mu of space, with a height of 16.7 meters, a crown diameter of 20.6 meters, a trunk circumference of 6.6 meters, a crown width of 21.5 meters from east to west and a width of 10.7 meters from north to south. The tree is roughly in the shape of "Y". The trunk of the tree is surrounded by five people. Due to its long history, the middle of the main trunk is empty, forming a "immortal cave" connected up and down. The bottom of the cave can accommodate four people standing. The entrance diameter is 0.74M and the exit diameter is 0.55M, which can allow visitors to enter from the entrance and climb out from the exit at the upper end of the tree along the main pole. A close look at the trunk skin color shows that it is rough and deep, grand and ancient, just like the solemn and vigorous color in the painter's pen, with peculiar shape and magnificent momentum. What's more interesting is that 12 meters away from the tree king, another walnut tree grows from its root, which is similar to the old tree king in shape and has a "Y" shape, but the trunk is not as thick as its mother, so it takes two people to encircle it.
