Lamyangcuo Lake

Ramyangcuo lake, which means "goddess of the Soul Lake" in Tibetan, is located opposite Songzanlin temple. It is said that it is the Soul Lake of goddess bandanram. Monks and believers would accompany the eminent monks to the lake to chant sutras and pray during the important ritual activities. On weekdays, local believers would often come here in groups to turn around the lake, release or simmer mulberry to pray.

During celestial burial, monks will recite sutras to the dead beside manidui on the small island, so it is not allowed under normal circumstances Anyone on the island. This peculiar mountain in the southwest of lamyangcuo lake is called "Dong Cho Sheng". The shape of the mountain is similar to the giant Ao. It is said that a pair of natural white snails once appeared at the foot of the mountain, which is one of the treasures of Songzanlin temple. It is also a kind of Buddhist magic weapon, and "Cho Sheng" means giant Ao. It is said that this mountain is the holy mountain of a Dharma protector under the Baideng Lama gate. There is a perennial stream at the bottom of the mountain. The water is clean and free from any pollution. Therefore, monks and common people come here to take water to simmer mulberry on the first day, the fifteenth day or when there are major Buddhist activities.
