Wanshan island is located in Wanshan District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, with an area of 8.1 square kilometers and an altitude of 443.13 meters. At present, the population is about 3000.

Wanshan port is a famous fishing port. The surrounding sea area was one of the six largest fishing grounds in China.

Introduction to scenic spots

The sea area around Wanshan fishing port is the famous Wanshan fishing port in China. There are more than 200 kinds of fish with economic value, and the main fish season is pond fish. It has set a national record of 1200 Dan (120000 Jin) of fish per net. Wanshan used to be a red flag of the national fishery front, and Comrade Bu Jinsheng, our still living village branch secretary, was once a representative of the 11th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and received cordially by the state leaders.

Wanshan island is a wild and magical island. There are pumice Bay, which is known as "the wonder of Asia"; there is Mazu memorial ceremony with strong Island characteristics, which has the longest history and the largest scale in Wanshan islands and lasted for more than 100 years; there are also unique sea erosion landforms; there is the only well preserved Island Quaternary glacier notch in China; there are also original and unique Seafood without pollution; dry seafood with fragrant and endless aftertaste.
