After the winding path leads to seclusion, there is another "four in five patio" courtyard with unique caves. The deepest backyard quietly stands a villa house with western style, which is completely in the form of modern architecture, with basement, balcony, corridor, floor to floor glass window, and bonsai all around. The environment is elegant and unique. Although washed by years, the red vermilion doors and windows and the white marble fence still have the same style.

Features of scenic spots

The wood carving, stone carving and clay sculpture of Yan's residence strive to keep the pure traditional practice and meticulous. There is a marble landscape painting in the center of the screen wall, and a traditional folk legend "fishing, firewood, farming and reading" is carved around it to show the diligence and bravery of the Bai people. It is also the archetype of the characters in Jin Yong's novel Tianlong Babu. On both sides of the screen wall, there are two large clay sculpture patterns of "red plum heralding spring" and "pine crane prolonging the year", which fully show the superb sculpture art of the Bai people. In terms of stone carving, there are pure white marble doors, unicorn, elephant, human faced beast and other auspicious animals. The steps of the two courtyards are all paved with marble. In front of the East and West Hall rooms, there are carved marbles with eight immortals, birds and animals, flowers, birds, fish and insects, all vivid. In terms of wood carving, it also shows the exquisite wood carving of the Bai nationality, with a total of 191 lattice doors, more than 250 full and part of carved beauty windows, plugs, hanging pillars, hanging beams, hanging beams, and facing beams. There are three-layer, two-layer, deep and flat carving, and few similar patterns.
