Development and construction

In 2015, the Guangdong provincial government issued the "opinions on vigorously building Wetland ecological protection system and speeding up the construction of green ecological water network in the Pearl River Delta", which requires strengthening wetland protection and restoration. In March 2016, Shenzhen Municipal Government approved OCT wetland as a municipal Wetland Park.
