China Academy Museum

The Museum of Chinese Academy, the only special museum in China to display the history of Chinese Academy and culture and education, opened in Changsha, Hunan Province on June 14, 2012. It is located in Yuelu Academy, the largest, best restored and best preserved ancient academy in China.

Development history

Chen songchang, vice president of Yuelu Academy, said that China Academy Museum and Yuelu Academy complement each other. Yuelu Academy is a typical case of traditional Chinese Academy, while China Academy Museum displays rich and colorful academy culture through modern display means. The museum has a total construction area of 4768 square meters, a total display area of 3180 square meters, and a total investment of more than 50 million yuan. He also mentioned in particular the generous support of Taiwan's master Xingyun.

In 2007, when master Xingyun attended the Ming Lun hall meeting of Yuelu Academy, he learned the news of the preparation for the construction of the Museum of Chinese Academy, and immediately decided to donate 10 million yuan to fund this "cultural charity". The reporter saw in the museum that its external architecture has a strong modern flavor, while the internal exhibition route reflects the winding style of ancient academies. The museum is divided into three parts: the Millennium exhibition hall of string songs which shows the millennium development history of ancient Chinese academies, the academy education exhibition hall which displays learning supplies and teaching methods, the Academy Academic Exhibition Hall which introduces "famous academies" and representatives, and the exhibition hall of sacrifice, book collection and Book engraving. In addition to the ancient exam oriented teaching materials, various plaques and doctrines, precious ancient books and four treasures of the study, there are also the stone tablet of "Yuelu Academy" inscribed by Zhenzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, the restoration scenes of the representative academies of the Ming Dynasty, such as the Lize Hall of Donglin Academy, the classic Church of Taoshan Academy of Korea, the Minglun Hall of Bailudong academy, the Xuehai Hall of the Qing Dynasty, and the inscription of Mr. Zhu Wengong on Zhu Yingtai of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty There are many statues, such as Zhenxiang Beituo and Zhuzi statues in Qing Dynasty.
