Tongyu River hub scenic spot

Tongyu River hub scenic spot is located in Binhai and Xiangshui counties of Jiangsu Province, 83 kilometers away from Yancheng City. It takes four hours to Shanghai and Nanjing, and 90 minutes to Yangzhou and Lianyungang. The old abandoned Yellow River, the new Tongyu River, the North Jiangsu irrigation canal and the Huaihe River waterway run through the whole scenic area. There are flowers in spring, shade in summer, fruit in autumn and green in winter. It was named "National Water Conservancy Scenic Spot" in August 2005.

Relying on blue water and blue sky, lush grass and trees, birds singing and flowers fragrance, waterside pavilions, curved bridge corridor and fountain sculptures, the scenic spot takes touring the water conservancy project landscape and scenery along the way from Binhai to Xiangshui section of Tongyu River as the main line, as well as the water conservancy facilities such as Huanghai billows and seawall up to standard projects. It is 40 km long along the axis of Tongyu River in the north-south direction and 50 km long along the axis of the main irrigation canal in the north of Jiangsu Province in the east-west direction. Each scenic spot covers an area of more than 4200 mu. The water and land transportation in the scenic area is convenient, the gates and stations are connected, the environment is elegant, and the water control history and sea salt culture are deeply embedded in it. Magnificent engineering landscape, beautiful human landscape and wonderful ecological environment constitute a beautiful picture.

There are water Hotel, European style square, fishing center, bird paradise and other scenic spots in the scenic area. There are water park and water conservancy engineering exhibition hall in the planning and construction. A Water Conservancy Scenic Spot integrating tourism, leisure, conference reception, visiting practice, recreation and fitness, and popular science education is nurturing and growing on the red hot land of Yanfu.
