The history of Guanyin temple, the time of its founding, can not be traced. Brief introduction to temples

Guanyin Temple in Hai'an is an ancient Buddhist temple in Southeast Taizhou, Jiangsu Province. After taking office, he repaired the temple and rebuilt the body. The temple had a new appearance, and the four people were happy. Yugong was competent to be the official Secretary of the state monk. He was busy with official business and had no time to stay. He handed over his disciple daoru to manage the temple. Daoshi followed his teacher's ambition, managed the temple with great care, promoted the law and made good living.

The current Abbot

During his tenure as Taizhou monk's chief secretary, Yugong made great contributions in calming down the trend of developing schools in temples of the Qing Dynasty, maintaining Buddhist incense, making monks' livelihood, cultivating monks' talents, and continuing Buddha's wisdom and life. In addition, he got his apprentice Wenxin and Zhiguang's two teachers, who cultivated them deliberately and made deep progress in Taoism. The master of literature is the abbot of Kaihua temple in Taicheng. The master of wisdom applied for the Dharma seat of Dinghui temple in Jiaoshan, Zhenjiang. Wengong got Tu AI Pavilion and lived in the abbot of Zhulin temple in Zhenjiang. Zhigong got Tu Nanting and lived in the abbot of Guangxiao temple in Taicheng.

AI Gong got Tu cunyuan, and he was the master of Yizheng in Baoguang temple. Nan Gong got Tu Shanyuan, and he was the master of juezheng temple in Taicheng. The first and second divisions of cungong's apprenticeship are Qixia mountain and Pude temple in Nanjing, and Chengguang temple in Yixing. There are two divisions, one is the good Duke, and the other is the fruit master. The fruit master once presided over the Dharma seat of Yusheng temple in Taicheng.

Commemorative activities

On May 7, 2005, the 10th anniversary of the reopening of Guanyin Temple in Hai'an, Jiangsu Province, was celebrated. Chairman Cheng personally presided over the ceremony and gave a seat to the new abbot, master Chang Jing.
