The revolutionary martyrs memorial tower is located in the east of Yanjiao Town. In November 1996, Yanjiao martyrs memorial tower was designated as the patriotic education base of Liuzhi special economic zone.

The original tombs of several martyrs here have become low earth bags due to disrepair. In 1996, led by the government of Yanjiao Town, the revolutionary martyrs tower and tombstone archway were rebuilt.

The monument is 5.3 meters high and the pedestal is very strong. At the top of the tower is a five pointed star with red light, and in the middle is a blue stone with the eight characters "revolutionary martyrs are immortal". In front of the memorial tower is a row of green pines and cypresses, with rectangular flower beds on the left and right. There is a 12 meter long and 2.5-meter-high square inlaid with bluestone slabs at the back, and a roof eaves tile groove carved by skilled craftsmen at both ends. At the top of the center is a round five-star through the sky, and there are red flags carved with red soft stones on the left and right. A pair of elegiac couplets are eye-catching. The right couplet is "Yinglie laughs at Jiuquan", and the left couplet is: "Haoqi runs through five continents". There are also biographies of heroes written by Wang Shengguo, the former mayor of the town, and ode written by Jiang Fuqun, the Secretary of the town Party committee. There are three regular script characters of "martyr's tomb" carved in the center, and the martyr's English directory is engraved. There is a praise poem behind: Heroes should be smiling, and great achievements will be passed on all over the world. Virtue is always with heaven and earth, and the spirit is always in the universe.
