Qianhu National Wetland Park is located in Qianyang County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, with a total area of 573.2 hectares. Qianhu National Wetland Park is located in the middle reaches of Qianhe River Valley, Qianyang County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. It spans 12 administrative villages of caobi Town, Chengguan town and Shuigou Town, Xinxing village and Shigou village of Shuigou town in the West and Qianyang middle school in Chengguan town in the East. It is about 7.7 km wide from north to South and 6.3 km long from east to west. Its geographical coordinates are 107 ° 3'55 ″ - 107 ° 8'13 ″ E and 34 ° 37 ″ n The total area is 573.2 hectares. hydrology

Qianhe river runs through the whole wetland park from west to East. Qianhe river is the main tributary on the North Bank of Weihe River, the largest tributary of the Yellow River. Fengjiashan Reservoir, built in the 1970s at the junction of Qianyang, Fengxiang and Baoji counties (now Chencang District of Baoji City), has a storage capacity of more than 400 million cubic meters and is the largest reservoir in Guanzhong area of Western Shaanxi.

In November 2008, Qianhu Wetland Park was approved by the State Forestry Administration to set up a National Wetland Park pilot.

In December 2012, it was awarded the most suitable independent leisure tourist attraction for urban people in Guanzhong Tianshui Economic Zone in 2012.

In 2013, it was rated as national AA scenic spot by the national tourism scenic spot quality rating committee.

In 2014, it was promoted to national AAA scenic spot.

In 2011, through the National Wetland Park pilot acceptance, officially become a national wetland park.

Infrastructure

While using the central subsidy fund for wetland protection, we actively integrated agriculture, forestry, water conservancy, transportation and other projects, concentrated on wetland protection, and made every effort to improve regional infrastructure. We have repaired and reconstructed 30 kilometers of Yangqian road and Qianfu Road, 12 kilometers of internal river embankment road, 1.8 kilometers of wooden plank road, and 1.8 kilometers of pedestrian road The wetland reserve and wetland park have completed the construction of water supply and drainage, power supply, road hardening and service facilities. More than 120 million yuan has been raised in various ways, and the aquatic botanical garden, wetland portal area, vegetation restoration area, bird viewing area, Baihua garden, Qinshui Bay, Xiema Bay and other scenic spots have been built, receiving more than 100000 tourists every year, achieving good ecological and social benefits.

The ticket price of Qianhu National Wetland Park is 50 yuan / person time in peak season and 27 yuan / person time in off season.
