Baer Lake scenic area is located at the intersection of southern, Xichong and Shunqing. It is 37 km from the southern county, 30 km from Xichong, 50 km from Nanchong, and about 200 km from Chengdu, Chongqing and Guangyuan.

Baer lake is rich in ecological resources. The lake area covers an area of about 20 square kilometers, with winding and graceful lakeshore, scattered trees and shrubs, rich and colorful natural scenery, flourishing flowers and trees, flying birds and flying fish. It has the reputation of "small West Lake" in northern Sichuan.

Baer Lake scenic spot has convenient transportation, with Baer Lake high-speed interchange. The scenic spot has built tourist center, one river and five lakes, Chunyang Wetland Park, Shuiyun Flower Valley, leisure bamboo garden and other sightseeing projects and scenic spots.

There are also cultural landscapes such as Dashiqiao, a cave man site in northern Sichuan, Longlou temple, the alma mater of Li Xianfu, Minister of the Ministry of industry of the Qing Dynasty, and the hometown of Qiao Zhou, the teacher of Chen Shou, the author of the annals of the Three Kingdoms.
