Baiyi ancient town is located in the southeast of Pingchang County, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province. It is 25 km away from Pingchang county and 70 km away from Dazhou city. Daguang highway (National Highway g542) runs through the whole town and the Ba River flows around the town. The ancient town was built in the Qin and Han Dynasties. It is the site of ancient Liuzhou city. It has a history of more than 2000 years. It is famous for its outstanding people. With an area of 2000 hectares, the scenic area is densely populated with cultural and natural scenic spots. With high comprehensive grade, low culture and beautiful ecological environment, it was rated as a famous historical and cultural town in China in 2014.
