Development history

Fotoushan Forest Park is located in the north of Jiangkou Town, where Pingchang county is located. It is surrounded by Tonghe, Bahe and Longtan. It is surrounded by mountains and looks like the stars and the moon. Fotoushan got its name from the legend that "Guanyin sent fotoutong to guard Longtan River". In 2003, as an important part of zhenlongshan National Forest Park, it was approved as a National Forest Park, and in 2013, it was approved as an AAAA scenic spot by Sichuan Provincial Tourism Administration.

In 2012, Pingchang County integrated its tourism resources and put "AAAA scenic spot, fotoushan Forest Park in Pingchang County, one hundred national red tourist attractions, martyr Liu Bojian Memorial Hall and revolutionary cultural relics exhibition hall of Pingchang County in Sichuan Shaanxi Soviet Area" under the management of "Management Committee of fotoushan Cultural Industry Park in Pingchang County", and then upgraded the scenic spots.

At the beginning of 2012, according to the national AAAA scenic spot standard, Shanghai Fusi tourism consulting company took fotoushan Forest Park, martyr Liu Bojian Memorial Hall and revolutionary cultural relics exhibition hall of Pingchang County in Sichuan Shaanxi Soviet Area as carriers, and focused on ecological restoration, cultural relics protection, scenic spot development, landscape transformation, environmental improvement, infrastructure improvement and service facilities, integrated into the tourism industry in an all-round way Su, organized the preparation of "fotoushan Cultural Industrial Park regulatory detailed planning.". Through various efforts to attract foreign investment, Sichuan Huashui Power Group invested 130 million yuan on May 2 to comprehensively upgrade and reconstruct the fotoushan Forest Park, officially signed a contract, and officially started construction on May 5, with a construction period of one year.

The regulatory detailed planning of national AAAA scenic spot in Pingchang County, in addition to dividing by tourism elements and functions, combined with the actual situation of scenic spots, reflects four changes of modern tourism: first, from landscape to story; second, from viewing to activity; third, from appreciation to experience; fourth, from singleness to extension. Martyrs Memorial

The martyr Liu Bojian memorial is located in fotoushan Forest Park, a national AAAA scenic spot in the north of Pingchang County, with a forest coverage rate of 93.5%. In 1991, it was announced as a provincial cultural relic protection unit by the provincial government. In 1995, it was named as a provincial patriotism education base by the provincial Party committee and the provincial government. In 2005, it was approved as one of the 100 classic red tourism scenic spots in China.
