Erxiantao, the name of traditional Chinese medicine. It is the whole herb of the orchid plant liliparis odorata < / I (Willd.) Lindl. Distributed in Zhejiang, Taiwan, Hunan, Guangdong, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places. It has the effect of detoxification, detumescence, wind dispelling and dehumidification. It is often used for sore, swelling, wind cold, dampness, leucorrhea, lumbago and cough.

Herbaceous. Pseudobulb subovate, 1.3-2.2 cm long, 1-1.5 cm in diameter, nodose, covered with white membranous sheath. Leaves 2-3, narrowly elliptic, ovate oblong, oblong lanceolate or linear lanceolate, membranous or herbaceous, 6-17 cm long, 2.5-6 cm wide, apex acuminate, entire, base narrowed to sheath petiole, without joints; sheath petiole 2.5-10 cm long.
