Located in Daxigou Township, Huocheng County, Yili Prefecture, on the north slope of West Tianshan Mountain, China Fushou mountain tourist area is close to the national Horgos Economic Development Zone, 653km away from Urumqi city and 90km away from Yining airport, with a total planning area of 180km2. Fushou mountain scenic spot is a national AAAA scenic spot and an important node of grassland silk road. It became one of the largest places for Taoist activities in Xinjiang in the Qing Dynasty. As early as 1221, Taoist priest Qiu Chuji, the founder of Taoist Longmen school, paid a special visit to Fushou mountain to preach and practice. Therefore, during the Qing Dynasty, it became the largest Taoist activity place in Xinjiang. Fushou mountain in China has also been named as "the hometown of wild cherry and plum in China".
