Yele Lake

Yele lake is actually a reservoir. Because of its high altitude, it has the scenery of plateau lake. At present, tickets are not required. It is said that tickets will be collected in 2017. You can search Yele Township on the map. On the map, Yele lake is close to the Yi sea. After coming down from the exit of Liziping expressway, drive straight to Menghuo city. When you get to a three fork road, the road on the right is to Yele lake, and the road on the left is to Menghuo city and Moon Lake. You can have a look at the road signs. It's very convenient. Or directly navigate to Yele township or Yele Hydropower Station.

Yele Lake

Yele Lake: also known as Yele reservoir, located in Yele Township, Mianning County, Sichuan Province, belongs to Yele Nature Reserve. Due to the elevation of 2600 meters, it has the scenery of plateau lake. In addition, this place is located in a remote mountain where Yi compatriots live together, so there are almost no tourists, so it retains the almost primitive natural scenery.

Yele lake has beautiful scenery all year round. Among them, the most beautiful and suitable season is from June to September. The lake is blue, surrounded by primeval forests, snow mountains, large meadows, clusters of rhododendrons and wild flowers on the meadows, and cattle and sheep are grazing peacefully on the waist deep grassland. As few people know, only a small number of donkey friends go camping, so it is still a paradise.

Transportation: starting from Chengdu, go along Chengwenqiong or Chengya Expressway to Ya'an, then take Yaxi Expressway to Liziping expressway, and reach Yele township. It's 24 km, and then walk 3 km to Yele lake.
