Beijiao Park

Beijiao park is the only industrial park of chemical enterprises in Beijing, which belongs to Beijing Coking Plant. Beijing Coking Plant is a large-scale comprehensive utilization state-owned enterprise which mainly supplies fuel gas to Beijing and produces coke and a variety of chemical raw materials.

Beijiao park is now managed by Ruiyuan property company of coking plant. It is a team subordinate to the company. There are ten people engaged in the daily management of the park. It can receive more than 10000 visitors throughout the year.

history

Beijiao Park was built in 1984, with a total area of 28141 square meters and more than 4000 flowering shrubs. It has three seasons of flowers, four seasons of evergreen, and a water area of more than 5000 square meters. Visitors can row in summer and skate in winter. Willows whirl along the lake, reflecting the water. The island in the middle of the lake is covered with green trees, winding bridges, pavilions and sculptures. The garden feeds guinea fowls, peacocks, monkeys, rabbits, sheep and other animals. Two beautiful peacocks and 16 lively and lovely monkeys are the most attractive to visitors. People often stop in front of the peacock cage and monkey cage to enjoy the peacock's beautiful feathers and play with the naughty monkey ancestors and monkey grandchildren. "Changchun Pavilion" and "Peony Garden" are the icing on the cake of coking park. Visitors often take photos here during the flourishing period. "Changchun Pavilion" was written by Lao She's wife Hu Jieqing in July 1989, which made Beijiao park more beautiful. Beijiao park is a good place for Beijiao workers to rest and relax.

In order to implement the standardized management of parks in Beijing, under the guidance of the District Greening Bureau, coking park has continuously improved, standardized various systems, updated infrastructure, set up various warning signs, and made the maintenance management more standardized and scientific.
