After the reform and opening up, the policy of freedom of religious belief has been implemented, and the cause of Buddhism has become increasingly prosperous. With the purpose of loving the country and religion, Yongqing nuns carry forward the traditional Buddhist culture, actively seek to adapt to the society, and make contributions to the development of local tourism economy. Since the beginning of the new century, with the care and support of religious management departments and local township and village levels, Yongqing nunnery has successively completed the infrastructure construction of houdian, Liaofang, Shanmen, pagoda, wall, footpath, program-controlled telephone and so on through self financing and donation of faithful men and women, which has made the nunnery take shape, its functions become more and more perfect, and its appreciability and reception ability greatly improved.
