Shanghai ceramic science and Art Museum

Shanghai ceramic science and art museum is located in the park of Shanghai International Industrial Design Center, 3000 Yixian Road, Baoshan District. The exhibition area of the museum is 2000 square meters, and the opening hours are more than 330 days every year, which can accommodate more than 100 people at any time.

With the mission of "promoting Chinese art, deepening international exchanges" and creating and reviving Chinese ceramic brands, we have cooperated with Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, the only ceramic University in Asia, Shanghai Institute of silicate, Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Research Center of daily use and architectural ceramic engineering technology, School of materials and engineering, Tongji University, School of design and art, East China Normal University, and School of materials science, Shanghai University After completion, it is now the largest professional ceramic science and Technology Art Museum in Shanghai, and also a window for ceramic science and technology experts and ceramic art masters to gather.

Relying on the advantages of Shanghai as an international metropolis, through the strategic cooperation of industry, University and Research Institute, we will build an international exchange platform and external window for new ceramic technology, new materials, artistic ceramic creation and famous collection, and drive the incubation and transformation of technology and artistic achievements through strong cooperation, so as to improve the independent innovation ability of China's ceramic industry, expand the international influence of China's ceramics and reshape the world China is a powerful country in ceramic industry.

In the long process of civilization, the development of China's porcelain industry not only promoted the prosperity of China's ancient handicraft industry, but also promoted the formation of the world's porcelain industry. Show the main raw materials of ceramics, the relevant tools used in the production of ceramics, all kinds of glaze and test pieces.

It shows the historical development of ceramics and appreciates the delicacy of Royal Porcelain of different dynasties.

In this place, we can make clay and fire, and have interactive experience, so that the public can increase their knowledge, broaden their horizons, and further understand the manufacturing technology of ceramics.

（8） Exhibition area for development and application of ceramic science and technology

The high-tech ceramic materials developed by Shanghai Institute of silicate, Chinese Academy of Sciences and national research center of daily use and building ceramic engineering technology are applied in aviation, construction, industry and other industries. High tech ceramic materials have their unique advantages in performance. More and more products have been applied, bringing greater economic and social benefits. The development of high-tech ceramics has a bright future and a long way to go.
