Boundary river (source of Luanhe River)

The boundary river is located 13 kilometers north of Duolun County, Inner Mongolia. It is the intersection of the lightning River and the Heifeng river. The two rivers are quite different. The lightning river is black and the Heifeng river is silver. The two rivers meet to form the boundary river. It is the only river into the sea in Xilinguole grassland, and also an important water conservation area for the Luanhe Tianjin water diversion project.

The boundary river is the boundary river between Hebei Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its name is tuligen River, which means curved and narrow in Mongolian. The river course is winding, the current is murmuring, clear and bottomed out, like a silver jade belt, falling in the forest and grassland outside the Great Wall. After the completion of the Luanhe Tianjin water diversion project, Ms. Qian Zhengying, then Minister of water resources, visited here and identified it as one of the main rivers at the source of the Luanhe River, hence the name "source of the Luanhe River".
