Dafa King Temple

Dafawang temple is the name of a scenic spot. It is located at Yuzhu peak at the south foot of Taishi mountain, five kilometers north of Dengfeng City, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. The temple is surrounded by mountains on the East and west sides, green pines and cypresses.

Introduction to scenic spots

Fawang temple is located at Yuzhu peak at the south foot of Taishi mountain, five kilometers north of Dengfeng City, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. The two mountains in front of the temple are facing each other. The road is opened in the middle, the temple is connected to the upper part, and Dengfeng city is a famous modern tourist city. It can be said that the ancient temple is hidden in the deep mountains. On both sides of the corridor of Fawang Temple, there are two Ginkgo trees with a height of 30 meters and a circumference of 5 meters. In the middle of summer, the leaves are dense and green, just like a big umbrella; in the late autumn, the temple is full of yellow leaves, rich fruits, mountain breeze, fallen leaves, gold and silver fruits, which make the temple simple and enchanting; in the spring, when the flowers bloom, the temple is full of fragrance, which can refresh people's mind and clean up the evil. There are six monk pagodas around Fawang temple, including one dense eaves Tang pagoda, three single-layer Tang pagodas, one yuan pagoda and one Qing pagoda. Located on the back hillside of Fawang temple, the 15 level square brick tower is about 40 meters high, 28 meters in circumference, 2.13 meters thick, with yellow mud joints and white ash outside. The dense eaves of the pagoda are overlapped layer upon layer, and the widest one is about 90cm. In addition, the height and width of the tower body decrease from bottom to top, showing a parabolic shape. There is a tower gate in the south of the tower, which can directly enter the tower chamber. The chamber of the tower is square, the upper part is a hollow building, and the top of the tower can be seen from the bottom. There is a white jade Buddha statue in the center of the pagoda. It was given by King Zhou for his son in September 1409, the seventh year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty. It is called Amitabha Buddha.
