Xiangmen
Xiangmen (Xi ā ng m é n, pronounced in Wu dialect) was originally named Jiangmen, which is located in the east of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It was named because it used to be a place where all kinds of craftsmen lived. It is said that Helu, king of Wu, once ordered the sword casting masters to set up a furnace here to cast swords, so it is also called ganjiangmen. Later called "xiangmen" is the change of sound. The gate was stuffed in the early Song Dynasty. It was restored in 23-25 of the Republic of China and demolished after liberation.

The landscape construction project of xiangmen city wall in Suzhou starts from xiangmen bridge in the south, reaches Liangyuan in the north, faces the moat in the East and Pingjiang historical district in the west, covering an area of 32200 m2. The total investment of the project is 130 million yuan. The city wall is 725.8 meters long and the tower is 23.6 meters high. It was rebuilt in 2012. The plaque on the city tower has the four characters of "couplet and city emblem". The opening hours of the city wall are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and the lighting hours are from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. for free
