Badaoqiao

Badaoqiao desert is the northern part of Badain Jaran Desert, the third largest desert in China. It is the combination of Populus euphratica forest and desert landscape. It's 23 kilometers from dalaihubu town to badaoqiao, and it's only half an hour's drive from the county. It's a great place to shoot sunrise and sunset in the desert. It's also a camping site designated by Ejina government. It's also a place where you can experience desert and oasis without going deep into the desert. Visitors can slide sand, ride camels and see sand sculptures of different styles. Here you can feel the ruggedness and magnificence of the desert. At sunrise and sunset, a golden desert is particularly brilliant.

Traffic information: 1. There is no public transportation from dalaikubu Town, the seat of Ejin Banner town government, to the scenic spot, so you can only take a taxi.

2. There are free sightseeing buses in the scenic area, which travel between Yidao bridge and Badao bridge. There are many shifts, and each bridge will stop. However, the rush hour crowd (especially the Erdaoqiao), need physical strength and skills to squeeze into the car.

Ticket information: it is located in Populus euphratica Forest National Nature Reserve, with 240 yuan for one day ticket and 350 yuan for three days ticket. Half price voucher for students and the elderly aged 65-70, free for children under 1.2m and the elderly aged over 70. The ticket price will be adjusted during the Populus euphratica Festival before and after the National Day every year. The tickets of the scenic spot include the sightseeing car in the scenic spot.
