Yila grassland is located 6 kilometers northwest of Shangri La County, with a total area of 13 square kilometers. It is the largest and most beautiful grassland in Diqing Shangri La. Yila Tibetan means "leopard mountain", which is named after the legend that the leopard mountain in the north of Yila grassland gate is a "holy mountain".
