Guo Weijuan art museum is located in Dongfeng Street, Weifang City, Shandong Province. Introduction of facilities

Former residence of Guo Weijuan

Guo Weijuan's former residence (Shuyuan) is the old residence of Mr. Guo Weijuan. It was moved from the old residence of Guozhai street in 1950. From 1969 to 1971, Mr. Guo Weijuan spent the last two years of his life here. In 1992, it was opened to the outside world by the people's Government of Weicheng district; in 2007, it was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in Shandong Province. Shuyuan covers an area of 800 square meters, with 17 brick houses in the Qing Dynasty. The plaque of "Zhiyu hall" written by old man Baishi in seal script is hung in the main room. The living rooms on both sides display the living things and four treasures of the study. On the west side of the north courtyard, there is a thatched studio built by Mr. Qian himself, which is called "Ai Zhu Mao Tang"; on the black granite base in the center of the courtyard, there is a bronze bust of Mr. Guo Weijuan, which is made by the famous sculptor Qian Shaowu. Through the North Hall, there is a pond on the west side of the South courtyard. In the garden, Chimonanthus praecox, clove, red maple and Bauhinia were planted by Mr. At that time, Mr. Wei Juan was sent back to Wei in the name of evacuation, so Yan Jiayuan was called "Shuyuan" and "sanweng". Although he had gone through all the hardships, he did not fall into the blue cloud. "Than the Yuejia army from the sky, such as the Yellow River water to the sea to return", "back painting is stronger than wine, sick Wenxin strong as thunder" is his old age. Now the garden is full of Lushun, peach and plum.
