Yuanjiaxi township is under the jurisdiction of Mabian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the south of the county, 23 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 111.65 square kilometers

. The township mainly produces rice and corn. There are provincial enterprise forest snow tea base and Fuma technology company.

On May 18, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish yuanjiaxi township.
