Cao's second house

Cao's two houses belong to the ancient Huizhou City, not far from the stone square of Xu state. There are two sets of two-story ancient villages with almost the same structure and area side by side. They are two into three bays, and the interior brick, wood and stone carvings are superb. This kind of housing structure is rare among the ancient people in southern Anhui.

Cao's second house

Cao's second house is located at No. 20, daguajing street, Huicheng Town, Shexian county. Cao's two mansions are representative buildings in Huizhou during the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Building area of 994 square meters, exquisite workmanship, well preserved, exquisite brick, stone, wood carving.

Cao's two mansions belong to the buildings in ancient Huizhou City. They truly preserve the historical information of Huizhou culture and have comprehensive research value on geography, humanities and architecture.

Cao's second house is located in daguajing street, Huicheng Town, built in the Republic of China. The block faces east in the west, and the two houses are connected by walls. Nanzhai two into three Bay, 10.7 meters wide, 12.9 meters deep, covering an area of about 138 square meters. There is a small courtyard in front, a wing room in the lower hall, a corridor on both sides of the patio, and a carved screen door. The upper hall is a unified room with buildings and exquisite brick, wood and stone carvings. Beizhai, with two rooms and three rooms, is 10.7 meters wide and 13.2 meters deep, covering an area of 136 square meters. The upper and lower halls are equipped with wing rooms, and the wood carvings are slightly inferior to those of Nanzhai.

In 2004, the hall was overhauled.

In 2004, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Anhui Province.
