Suao cold spring was a pure carbonated spring, with a temperature of about 21 degrees Celsius. The water was clear and transparent, and could be drunk and bathed. The pH value of Suao cold spring was 5.5, and the water contained 68ppm carbonate ion, 14.3ppm sodium ion, and 10.7pp calcium ion m. It is the only calcium bicarbonate spring in Taiwan.
