Dali Catholic Church

Dali Catholic Church is located in the east of Xinmin Road, Dali ancient city. It was built in 1930. Sitting east to west, there are 9 chapels, 36 meters long and 13 meters wide, with a total area of 470 square meters. The top and bottom eaves of the building are all made of four jump eaves. Each of the four brackets is decorated with auspicious animals, and the eaves corner is decorated with Phoenix.

The chapel is divided into seven parts, and the East is the sacrificial platform for the statue of the Virgin Mary. In the west is the gate tower, on the top of which is a bell tower with four corners and a sharp top. The gate tower imitates the architecture of Bai People's residence, with multi-layer meter shaped bucket arch overhanging eaves, and the components are exquisitely carved. The Catholic Church adopts the Bai wooden building form, which has the characteristics of integration of Chinese and western.
