Wufankeng

"WuFan" in WuFan pit means "No.5". It is a well preserved pit and the most approachable pit in Jiufen. It was developed in the 16th year of the Republic of China. The pit mouth is made of neat stones and is now closed.

Wufankeng is just behind Shengping theater. There is a small square in front of the pit for recreation. At present, it has been renovated into wufankeng small park with a number of recreational facilities. It is also the best place to enjoy Jiufen sea view. The night scenery here is also quite charming. The red lanterns on the road of shizaki will light up at night. It's very pleasant to choose a teahouse to enjoy the scenery.
