Kanas River

Kanas river is the main tributary of Burqin River, and its upper source is Kanas Lake. The lake poured down and meandered in the valley, forming the beautiful beaches such as Wolong Bay and Moon Bay. The section from the south end of Kanas to Yaze lake is densely covered with boulders, with fast water flow and spray; the section from Yaze lake to wolongwan is wide, with slow water flow, green grass on the beach and lush trees on both sides.

Traffic information: take a plane to Kanas, from the airport to Jarden Valley (entrance of the scenic spot) takes 1 hour by car.

Self driving, from Urumqi to Buerjin, takes 10 hours (including lunch time); from Buerjin to jiadengyu, 150km, takes about 2 hours.

Take a bus from Urumqi to Buerjin, then charter a bus to Kanas, or take a bus to Hemu (there is a bus at 10:00 every morning)

Take the shuttle bus in Kanas Scenic Area, take the bus at jiadengyu ticket station, departure time: from 8:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m. in peak season, every 5 minutes. At night, there are five inter district buses on duty.
