This temple, which is devoutly believed by local residents, has a very special feature, which is different from the general temples located on land. The South Heaven palace is built on an island in the big pool of Longtan. Looking around, the temple is shimmering and the scenery is pleasant. According to local people, the Nantian palace fair was built here because after the restoration of Taiwan Island, local residents found an island emerging in the clear Longtan pool. For this strange phenomenon, local people organized a fair to build temples on the island. Gradually, the Nantian palace surrounded by water became a unique scene in Longtan. The entrance to the temple of nantiangong is directly facing the vast pool of Longtan. A few boats are sloshing leisurely on the pool, which makes people relax their nerves and immerse themselves in the pleasant scenery of Longtan. There is a bridge between the island and the shore. The Zhongyi bridge, which was completed in 1974, provides people with access to the temple gate. Not only that, but also the beautiful scenery of mountains and lakes around the South Temple. The South Heaven palace is not only for the local people's religious belief, but also a tourist attraction because of its beautiful scenery. In order to promote this beautiful scenery to more people, the palace's managers are actively planning to build various facilities, so that visitors can not only seek faith here, but also take pictures of the beauty of the Longtan Lake, leaving a good memory for themselves!
